Istvan Kovacs

Istvan Kovacs , born 1974 in Trier / Germany, was raised in Maastricht and studied Architectural Design at the Academy of Modern Arts in Maastricht where he graduated in 1998.

'Besides the work as an interior architect there is always music and art in my life.Since 2002 working on a series of paintings and plastic sculptures with a lot of symbolism inside, like dreaming and (sub)concious people... and also making mixed media paintings including products of this 'high speed' society: Inside are always driving energy and worries and heads full of music and electricity, daily life and broken vases of roses with tragedy and pain'
